History of Eltham Park Bluette of Far Sea
Eltham Park Bluette of Far Sea was bred by A. Jones and whelped February 6, 1928 in England. She was imported by Frederika Fry Del Guernico and registered in the June 1929 AKC Stud Book. Her dam, Treffynon Tessie, was supposedly a blue merle, but with no obvious source for the merle gene in her official pedigree (she was registered as from a sable to sable breeding). Further, Treffynon Tessie was not registered until around the time an export pedigree was needed for Bluette, over 4 years after the birthdate given for Tessie. The pedigree shown must be considered doubtful, at best. On pedigree, Bluette is Line BB and Family 1.

Producing Record of Eltham Park Bluette of Far Sea
Bluette went to Sheltieland Kennels on the dispersal of Far Sea, already bred to Eng Ch Max of Clerwood. She produced Sheltieland Wee Tibbie, who was registered as a sable from a tri to blue merle breeding. Evelyn Davis remembered bringing Bluette to Sheltieland, but could not remember the color of the puppy. Tibbie comes into modern ROM pedigrees through Cindahope's Lovey Dovey, the great granddam of Ch Sunnybrook's Heritage Spirit ROM.
