Contribution to Later ROM Shelties

Ch Cherden Sock It To 'Em CD ROM (better known as "Pow") was an important dog in the Banchory breeding program, and heads one of two main branches of Line CHE Part IIc down from Ch Diamond's Robert Bruce ROM. (The other runs through Ch Sundowner Mr. Bojangles CD ROM.) Pow was both bi-factored and white-factored, and is well represented in some ofthe best black and white Shelties. It is too early to estimate his eventual impact on the breed, but it is clear from the table below that he will have a place in breed history, especially in blue and tri lines.

The percent column indicates the percent of the pedigree of the ROM in question that was derived from Pow; the numbers column gives the number of times Pow appears in a fully extended pedigree.
